The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has released the 2021 Women’s Team of The Year list.

Like each year since 2017, the IFFHS announces its results for the World’s Team of the Year.
Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon) goalkeeper, Christiane Endler in goal in a 4 – 3 – 3 formation behind Canada’s Ashley Lawrence, France, and Lyon’s Wendie Renard, Sweden’s Magdalena Eriksson, and Spain’s Mapi Leon.
The midfield three comprise of FC Barcelona trio of Aitana Bonmati, Alexia Putellas, and Lieke Martens.
Chelsea and Australia’s Samantha Kerr partners Barcelona duo of Caroline Hansen and Jenifer Hermoso.

Ahead of FC Barcelona Femeni’s next game with Barclays English FA Women’s Super League (WSL) side, Arsenal this week, Caroline Hansen has been given a green light to play the game.
The Norwegian midfielder has been out of action since October 31 this year when Barcelona thrashed Real Sociedad 8-1.
She has missed six games for the Spanish side against Eibar, Hoffenheim (twice in the Champions League), Levante UD, Sevilla, and Athletic Bilbao after scoring two goals in eight league games.
