It is no longer a news that Spanish and FC Barcelona midfielder, Aitana Bonmati emerged as the 2023 FIFA Women’s Best Player of the Year winner.

She wasn’t the only women’s player or official winner during the award ceremony in London on Monday.

Bonmati was the clear winner of the award, adding to her Golden Ball prize at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.

The FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11 has been revealed at The Best FIFA Football Awards in London, England after over 6,000 women's football players voted for their global team of the year.

Two of Spain’s Women’s World Cup-winning heroes – Aitana Bonmati and Olga Carmona – made it into the Women’s World 11 for the first time. They were joined in the team of the year by seven England internationals: Mary Earps, Alex Greenwood, Lucy Bronze, Ella Toone, Keira Walsh, Alessia Russo and Lauren James.

Since 2015, FIFPRO has invited women's football players to choose their World 11. It is the only global player award decided exclusively by footballers.
