That is if he doesn’t move to Saudi Arabia where the salary is definitely much bigger. Consequently, English Premier League club, Manchester United are reportedly considering offering €40m plus Rasmus Hojlund for Osimhen.
The Red Devils are among the clubs interested in signing the Napoli-owned striker who has a €75m release clause. According to a report from Calciomercato, United are currently unwilling to match Osimhen’s transfer fee.
Instead, they are preparing an offer worth €40m plus ex-Atalanta star Hojlund. Osimhen has played 19 Seper Lig matches this term, scoring 14 goals and providing four assists. He has also made seven appearances in the UEFA Europa League, netting six goals and providing one assist.
Overall, he has contributed 20 goals and five assists in 26 matches across all competitions this season. On the other hand, Denmark star Hojlund has had a challenging 2024-25 season with Manchester United.
He has scored just seven goals and provided one assist in 34 appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, a separate report from Repubblica has it that United were already interested in signing Osimhen in the January transfer window.

Instead, it was Osimhen himself who refused to leave Galatasaray midway through the season. United have signed several Serie A players over the last few years, (Patrick Dorgu, Joshua Zirkzee, Andre Onana and Hojlund) investing over €250m.
