Last season, he was out on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, where he had a good run of form and scored a couple of goals and so the winger could be considering another return to England, the place where he made his name before his transfer to Real Madrid.

Lacazette, meanwhile, is scheduled to see his contract expire in the summer of 2022 and Arsenal don’t intend to renew it. The English club want to move on him in this coming market as he has become surplus to requirements at the Emirates stadium, falling down the pecking order for Mikel Arteta.

This transfer could be beneficial for both sides as they both get rid of unwanted players while also getting the needed reinforcements without spending much in terms of transfer but Bale would need to reduce his salary in order to make the transfer happen or the Los Blancos take up part of his salary, just like they did when he went on loan to Tottenham.

Former Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane has given his backing to his compatriot, Karim Benzema to win the Ballon D’or. “Karim is in a cloud,” he said.

“I would give him the Ballon d’Or. He deserves it. He’s an incredible player, and I had the great honour of training him. He knows how to do everything on the pitch. He’s a step above, and I hope he can be rewarded with this Ballon d’Or.” He further added.

Zidane was the coach of the Los Blancos while Benzema was his main striker when they won the UEFA Champions League title three times in a row. He was replaced by Carlo Ancelotti before the start of the new season after a disappointing end to the previous season.
