After an abysmal showing in their first two matches of the 2024-25 season, AC Milan will look to get things back on track this weekend when they travel to Rome to face Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
More Details
Despite recent claimsby Zlatan Ibrahimovic that their transfer market is closed following the signing of Youssouf Fofana, the club went on to complete another signing, albeit for the Futuro team. They have agreed a deal with Dutch giants Ajax for the permanent transfer of highly-rated teenager Silvano Vos.

Milan agreed to pay a guaranteed fee of €3m, which could potentially rise up to around €5m with bonuses and add-ons included. The Netherlands youth international is set to travel to Italy soon and is likely to sign his contract on Thursday, according to updates from transfer expert Matteo Moretto.
Vos is likely to gain match experience with the new Milan Futuro side but will also likely train with Paulo Fonseca’s team and eventually fight for a place in the match day squad. The 19-year-old was left out of Ajax’ U21 squad for their most recent league fixture.
This is a sign that he was likely to leave the club before the end of the transfer window. Vos’s arrival is likely to coincide with the departure of Yacine Adli, who is set to join Fiorentina in a deal worth a reported €13m. For Milan, they’re probably not going to stop there as they weigh up a move for another midfielder before Friday.
The transfer window closes on Friday with two names on Milan’s list. Accordingly, they remain interested in striking a deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach for Manu Kone, but the deal will only become possible for Milan if they are able to sell some of their current first-team options, including Ismael Bennacer.
The Algerian international could be sold before the end of the summer transfer window, a move that might free up Milan’s balance sheets to make room for the possible arrival of the Frenchman.

Ibrahimovic admitted that the Rossoneri are still interested in a deal for Kone despite signing his compatriot, Youssouf Fofana from AS Monaco. Although, similar in profile, Paulo Fonseca would not mind having both players on his books.
Reports earlier in the summer suggested Milan would have to sell two players in order to make the move a possibility with the second option, according to Gazzetta dello Sport being Adrien Rabiot.
Milan have reportedly resumed their interest in Rabiot and the Rossoneri are ready to submit a contract offer to the ex-Juventus midfielder who is now a free agent.
According to the report, Milan are preparing a contract offer for the French midfielder, to be submitted if Bennacer gets sold before transfer deadline.

Rabiot had already been linked with a move to Milan earlier this summer, but Milan were unwilling to match his salary demands. Gazzetta insist Milan still expect Rabiot to lower his wages if he values a move to the Stadio Meazza.
