The 19-year-old midfielder, plagued by injuries last season, showcased his talent for Turkey, proving he’s ready to compete for minutes at Los Blancos.

Despite interest from clubs like AC Milan, keen to replicate their Brahim Diaz loan deal although Real Madrid are adamant that Guler will stay. He faces stiff competition, but his recent form suggests he’s capable to fight for playing time ahead of the upcoming campaign.

AC Milan, according to OK Diario, are reportedly interested in arranging a deal similar to Brahim Diaz’s with Guler, proposing a two-year loan. Milan had a buy option of €22m for Diaz, with Real Madrid retaining a €27m buyback clause, though neither option was exercised, resulting in Diaz’s return to Madrid. However, Real Madrid currently have no plans to let Guler leave.

Brahim Diaz’s flourishing three-year loan at AC Milan is a blueprint Real Madrid might consider for Arda Guler. After honing his skills in Italy, Diaz returned to the Bernabéu a more polished player, earning a spot in a competitive squad.

Milan’s offer to house Guler on loan, mirroring the Diaz deal with a purchase option, is tempting. Real Madrid is intrigued by the prospect of accelerated development in a competitive environment. However, Guler’s long contract (until 2029) and his initial desire to join the first team immediately complicate things.

Despite loan interest, Guler seems determined to prove himself at Real Madrid, even as a substitute under Ancelotti. He shares Diaz’s ambition, but the path to regular playing time might require more patience.
