The last time both sides met was in the first game of 1980 AFCON which Nigeria eventually won 3-1 in Lagos leading to the Super Eagles maiden title.
Nigeria topped Group C with three points ahead of Tunisia's clash with Uganda.
They will next face Tunisia on December 27, 2025.
