AFC Champions League Elite: Ali Al Habsi Predicts An All Saudi Final

Jeddah will host the top eight teams in Asia beginning from Friday with the coveted Asian Champions League Elite trophy up for grabs.



Three Saudi Arabian teams, two Japanese teams, one Korean team, one Thai team and another from Qatar will begin hostilities on Friday, April 25th.

With Al Hilal and Al Nassr in different pool of the draws, both teams cannot meet before the final.

Former Premier League goalkeeper and Omani ex international Ali Al Habsi has predicted a final between the Riyadh rivals.

He reckons both teams are well sophisticated to go all the way to the finals of the showdown.

“The AFC Champions League Elite Final will be between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.” He said as revealed by @ByanNassr.

Al Hilal will open proceedings against Gwangju FC of Korea Republic on Friday before Al Nassr play for a semi final spot against Yokohama F. Marinos of Japan on Saturday.

The semi finals are slated for between April 29th-30th while the final takes place on May 3rd at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
