AFCON 2021: Cape Verde, Comoros Announce Squad

With less than 16 days to the start of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, national have teams have been putting themselves in good shape witt many releasing provisional lists for the biggest tournament in the continent.

Drawn in a relatively tough group with host Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia, Cape Verde have released a 26-man list for the event slated for 9 January to 6 February 2022.

Cape Verde who will kick-off their camping against Burkina Faso on the 9th of January have a mixture of both local based abd foreign based players in the list.

Comoros have announced the final squad for their first ever Africa Cup of Nations.

Drawn in Group C against one of the tournament’s favorite Morocco, Comoros will play their first ever AFCON game against Gabon on January 10, 2021. They will also face Ghana in the same group.
