Barcelona have all but confirmed the signing of Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski as multiple sources have confirmed the news. The transfer fee is €45 million plus another €5 million in add-ons.

But Barcelona face a few problems of their own with regards to the signing. First and foremost, the Blaugrana will be unable to register the player due to his wages and La Liga rules.
Just like the other signings, Barca will be unable to register Lewandowski unless they manage to reduce the wages of the overall squad.
Secondly, Barcelona have no spare jersey number in the first-team squad for the striker. His preferred #9 is with Memphis Depay, who, while linked with an exit, but is still in the team. Ansu Fati dons the #10, and Ousmane Dembele has the #7.
The club now need to, as a matter of urgency, move Frenkie De Jong and Memphis Depay in order to be able to register their new signings.
Meanwhile…
Juventus have resigned to losing their Dutch defender, Mathijs De Ligt after Bayern Munich CEO, Oliver Kahn confirmed that the player is willing to join the Bavarians. Consequently, the Bianconeri have reportedly opened talks with Villarreal defender, Pau Torres over a switch.

Last summer, the player rejected a move to English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur as he preferred to stay with the Yellow Submarines. Now, the 25-year-old Spanish defender is keen to leave Villarreal this summer in order to take the next step in his career.
Juventus have already registered their interest ahead of the possible sales of De Ligt to Bayern Munich while Villarreal want around €50m for Torres, a figure considered excessive by Juventus, who are looking to offer around €40-45m.
