After The Transformers, Inter And Paramount To Have Another Collaboration For The Match Against Genoa
Written By Onyeka Daniel
This season, Inter Milan seems to have hit a new height with the way they’re playing and getting the goals and the points in their march towards the 20th League title after their win over Atalanta yesterday stretched their lead to 12 points after 26 games in the Serie A. Away from the pitch, the team is finding success as they’re set to unveil a new special type of jersey for their next match.
More Details
Against Genoa, the Nerazzurri will take to the pitch wearing a shirt featuring the Ninja Turtles logo instead of the classic Paramount+ patch. After the jersey dedicated to the Transformers film series and of course, wearing a jersey dedicated to the Chinese new year, the year of the dragon, Inter and Paramount+ are back celebrating the union between football and entertainment with a new shirt collection, inspired by the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

The home jersey dedicated to the Ninja Turtles will be worn by the Nerazzurri players for Inter vs. Genoa. For the occasion, four special guests will be in attendance at San Siro: during the pre-match build-up, the characters Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey will take centre stage on the sidelines and in the hospitality rooms, while they will also welcome the players as they head out to warm up.
This initiative will also see exclusive content published on the Club’s official channels. Produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures and directed by Chris Yost and Alan Wan, the all-new animated film Teenage Ninja Turtles – Mutant Mayhem will be available on Paramount+ from 1 March. Back to the field, Italian midfielder, Davide Frattesi might have to skip the game against Genoa after sustaining what appears to be a slight knock during yesterday’s 4-0 hammering win over Atalanta.
The 24-year-old started his evening on the bench before entering the pitch as a replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 62nd minute. While the score was already 3-0 upon his introduction, Frattesi was still eager to leave his mark, thus netting his second goal in as many matches. The former Sassuolo man nodded home the fourth strike after meeting Alexis Sanchez’s freekick delivery with a clinical header.
But sadly for the midfielder, the celebrations were cut short as he seemed to have picked up an injury. Frattesi left his place on the pitch to Davy Klaasseen just 10 minutes following his entry. While this incident blemished what was an otherwise perfect evening for Inter, it appears that the player has avoided a serious injury. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Frattesi has suffered an adductor contracture.

The medical staff will be evaluating the Italian’s condition in the next hours. Nevertheless, the primary diagnosis suggests that the issue is a slight one. According to the report, Frattesi will miss the upcoming match against Genoa on Monday night, where they will already be without Hakan Calhanoglu. Nevertheless, the Inter manager could receive a significant boost as Marcus Thuram and Francesco Acerbi are aiming for a call-up on Monday, but even if they recover in time, they’re more likely to start from the bench than going straight into the starting lineup.

His company XXI Century Capital has now announced that the 67-year-old is no longer planning to buy Inter. He will rather focus on clearing his name from what the official statement labels as “false and malicious accusations” that were fabricated by a “disgruntled former employee”.
The statement Insists that Zilliacus and the other members of the YuuZoo board didn’t commit any wrongdoing between 2015 and 2016. Zilliacus makes it clear that he doesn’t intend to fly to Singapore due to health reasons. However, he had offered to attend court hearings via Zoom, a procedure that the Singapore law allows. The billionaire will also file complaints against those responsible for fabricating the “false accusations”.
Zilliacus had been working on forming a consortium to take over Inter. Nevertheless, the statement reveals that other investors have pulled out of the process as a result of his legal troubles. Therefore, the statement confirms that Zilliacus had to abandon the process of investing in the Serie A leaders.
