Don’t miss religion and politics with sports they say but in a Muslim dominated country like Turkey, one will expect the league organisers to be more considerate in staging a league game especially in the month of Ramadan but the status quo remained like there was nothing happening and that has led to one of the affected players voicing out his displeasure with the decision.

“I don’t understand, why did we have to play so early?” the Egyptian said.
“We are all fasting in Ramadan so why don’t we play at night. It’s a Muslim country, I think they should think about that.”
Meanwhile…
Arsenal and Egypt midfielder Mohamed Elneny is no longer at the Emirates Stadium. This is according to the club’s former legend Kevin Campbell.

Elneny has made only ten appearances with Arsenal since the start of the season, three of which were in the EFL Cup where he helped his team reach the semi-finals.
As a result, rumors started to emerge about the midfielder’s future and the possibility of his departure.
The rumors have only gotten stronger with renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming that there are no talks between Arsenal and Elneny for a new contract.
Campbell weighed in on the topic, naming Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz as a potential replacement for Elneny as he believes the Egyptian is no longer needed at the club.
“I think he [Douglas Luiz] would be a great partner for Partey,” Campbell told Football Insider.
“You can see us struggling in midfield right now. Elneny is not the answer. He will be gone at the end of the season.
“Xhaka is our second best because he is experienced in there but I still have a question mark over him.
“Douglas Luiz is hungry, young and is a good ball player. I think he could come in and do a really good job.
“We need numbers as well. It is not just a matter of signing starters. We need a squad. At the moment our squad is not up to scratch. We are weaker than other teams.”
