The Jeddah giants proved too strong for their Japanese counterparts Kawasaki Frontale in the final of the Champions League Elite.
First half goals from Galeno and Franck Kessie, both assisted by Roberto Firmino was enough to see the Royals march to victory.
Having defeated Buriram United in the quarter finals, Al Ahli went on to stun Al Hilal in the semi finals before seeing off Kawasaki Frontale on Saturday evening.
It is the very first time that the club have been crowned European champions since their inception, joining Al Hilal and Al Ittihad as the only Saudi clubs to have won the trophy.
Firmino set up Galeno in the 35th minute before the Brazilian winger unleashed a beautiful curler past the Japanese goalkeeper.

Six minutes later, Franck Kessie rose highest to meet a cross by the captain to send the crowd into ecstasy and set the club on its way to history.
Just few months before now, Jaissle was on the brink of being sacked by the club before fans revolted against the decision.
Three months later, the fans have been repaid for their loyalty in the German tactician.
