Al-Hilal Open Official Discussion With PSG For Italian Midfielder Who Is Keen To Quit Paris

Saudi Arabia club, Al-Hilal have opened official discussions with PSG for a potential transfer of highly rated Italian, midfielder Marco Verratti as there are reports that the player is keen to leave the French champions for a new challenge if the right offers come.

PSG midfielder Marco Verratti is the next football star on the Saudi football potential summer transfer list with reports emerging today that they have officially lodged a bid and he could follow the duo of ex Real Madrid legends in Benzema and Ronaldo as they club are willing to sell to fund their squad revamp.
Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo already plays in the Saudi Pro League, with several top players being linked with hugely lucrative moves to the Gulf state.
With the reports from SportItalia which claimed that the Saudi Ministry of Sports has made an ‘official bid’ for the Italian midfielder who is wanted by several clubs, although big-spending Al-Hilal are thought to be showing the most interest.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder who signed a new contract at the Parc des Princes in December will see his current deal expire in 2026 but, with the club in turmoil of exit of a number of first team stars, they may be forced to consider to sell with the right offer to fund their European ambition.
Verratti’s response is reportedly expected in the coming days, after completing international duty with the Azzurri.
