Al Ittihad have had to do without their marquee summer signing Moussa Diaby since his last appearance on November 7.

The left footed winger last featured for the side in their 2-0 away victory at Al Orobah in the first week of November.

He has since been ruled out of action where he’s missed a total of six games for Laurent Blanc’s side.

Reports in the media have circulated that the Tigers are looking at Al Nassr’s Anderson Talisca to replace Diaby.

Some outlets reported that the 25 year old will miss the remainder of the season, a claim that has been denied by the club.

Riyadh Al Mazhar, spokesperson of the Jeddah giants told the press as revealed by InsiderItti that the player will be back in action very soon.

He also added that every link to Anderson Talisca by the club is false and has no substance.

“What is being circulated about Moussa Diaby’s absence until the end of the season is incorrect.

‎”The player is currently undergoing a treatment and rehabilitation program. We also categorically deny the rumors about negotiations with any other player to join the team as a replacement for Moussa Diaby.”

The former Aston Villa wide-man is on a rehabilitation programme and is expected to be at the disposal of Laurent Blanc in the coming weeks.

Al Ittihad have no doubt missed the services of their forward who has a goal and ten assists in ten games in the league.
