Al Hilal players were at the receiving end of water cans thrown onto the pitch by the angry home fans during their clash last month.

A fine of 100,000 Riyals have been handed out to the Tigers for the behaviour of their fans which is said to be outside the parameters of the game.

The Jeddah based club did not file an appeal against the player that triggered the reaction from the fans.


Two Al Ittihad players have been fined for shunning media duties in one of their club’s matches.

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee have handed our fines to the duo of Abdulrazzak Hamdallah and Saad Al Mousa.

Both players refused to make themselves available for media briefing after one of their club’s games.

They have been ordered by the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee to pay a sum of 20,000 Riyals each as punishment.
