The former FC Porto and AC Milan manager has agreed to a two year deal with the Tigers, Fabrizio Romano reports.
Conceicao was recently in charge of AC Milan whom he led to the Italian SuperCoppa in Saudi Arabia earlier in the year.

The 50 year old was preferred to Luciano Spalletti who was also in the running for the post.
Al Ittihad took the decision to sack Laurent Blanc after an uninspiring start to the season despite winning the double last term.
Conceicao will be expected to turn the fortunes of the reigning Saudi Pro League champions when his move becomes official.
