Al Nassr have rejected a bid from Athletic Bilbao for Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The first offer by the Spanish club was rejected by the Saudi Arabian side as it was deemed unsatisfactory.
A fresh offer has yet to be sent by Bilbao with negotiations reportedly at a halt for the moment.

The two clubs’ valuation of the player seems a mile apart but a resolution is expected to be reached.
However, Laporte has already made up his mind on a return to his boyhood club and has agreed personal terms for his transfer.
The 31 year old looks on his way out of Al Nassr after just two seasons since joining from Manchester City in 2023.
