Bento Krepski was full of elation after making it to the pitch in Brazil’s 2-1 win over Colombia.

The 25 year old was called on in the 76th minute following an injury to starting goalkeeper Allison.

It was his second cap for the five time world champions after making his debut exactly a year ago against England in a friendly encounter.

Bento wrote on his Instagram how excited he was to help his team to victory and also showed solidarity to the injured Allison.

“It’s always important to live the 90 minutes intensely, regardless of whether you’re a starter or a substitute, because we never know what can happen. I’m very happy to have contributed to another important victory for our Brazilian team! I wish Alisson a speedy recovery and hope that nothing serious happens. Let’s go, Brazil.”

Bento has been a part of the national team setup since figs first call up in 2023 under Fernando Diniz.

He has since left Brazil’s Athletico Paranaense to become Al Nassr’s undisputed starter in the Saudi Pro League.

He has now kept clean sheets in both of his appearances for the Selecao of Brazil.

He’ll be expected to again get between the sticks when Brazil take on fiercest rivals Argentina on Tuesday, given Allison is not expected to be back soon.
