Almost done for Vidal to Inter
Antonio Conte could finally get his man as Arturo Vidal inches ever closer to Inter Milan according to latest reports.
The pair worked together between 2011 and 2015 while at Juventus, winning the Scudetto for three consecutive seasons and the Lecce-born tactician is hoping for a reunion with the player, but this time, at Inter Milan as they plan to end Juventus’ eight year dominance in the Serie A.
Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that the 33-year old Chilean has communicated his wish to forgo his wages for the last few months of his contract as both parties continue negotiations for a mutual contract termination.
The Italian outlet believes that the midfielder’s decision could speed up the process and free the player up to join Inter Milan on a two-year contract with an option for a one-year extension.
Vidal is expected to arrive in Milan between today and tomorrow for his medicals if everything goes as planned and his contract signing should be done immediately after.
