Ancelotti to Assess Vallejo

Written by Onyeka Daniel
Newly appointed Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti will be looking within his current squad as he hopes to find tactical solutions for his squad for next season.
Ancelotti, who recently returned to coach the 13-time European champions for a second spell is looking to revive the fortunes of the club on the pitch amidst the effects of the pandemic and it’s economic impact on the club.
Among the players that Ancelotti will be looking to assess over the summer is Jesus Vallejo. The 24-year old centre back spent last season on loan at Granada and would be given the chance to impress the Italian manager over preseason as the club hopes that he could be a replacement for the departed Sergio Ramos.
Former club captain, Sergio Ramos left the club this month upon expiration of his contract. The Spain international spent sixteen years at the Spanish capital based club.
