Anders Dreyer Commits Future To San Diego FC With New Deal
San Diego FC has secured winger Anders Dreyer with a contract extension following a record-breaking debut.

The deal keeps the 27-year-old Danish international with the club through the 2028-29 season, including an option for the following year.

Dreyer, a key Designated Player, was instrumental in SDFC’s historic 2025 inaugural campaign, where he recorded 23 goals and 22 assists.
“Extending Anders’ contract was a clear priority for us heading into this season,” said sporting director Tyler Heaps.
“He was able to very quickly show his value to this team through his performances, work ethic and commitment to the group on and off the field.

“This extension reflects our confidence in him and our belief that he will continue to play a key role in helping us reach our objectives.”
On the international stage, Dreyer has netted three goals in eight appearances for Denmark, playing a key role in securing their spot in the UEFA qualification playoffs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
At the club level, San Diego enters its second MLS season on Feb. 21, hosting CF Montréal in a late-night matchup on Apple TV. However, their competitive year begins even earlier on Feb. 3, when they face LIGA MX side Pumas UNAM in the opening round of the Concacaf Champions Cup.
