After leaving Spurs in June, Postecoglou has been unemployed, but he has quickly found a new position as Forest’s head coach.
Only sixteen days after guiding the north London team to Europa League success, the Australian was fired. Now that Marinakis has brought him in to win titles, he will have another chance to play Premier League and European games at the City Ground.
Marinakis said: “We are bringing a coach to the club who has a proven and consistent record of winning trophies.
“His experience of coaching teams at the highest level, along with his desire to build something special with us at Forest, makes him a fantastic person to help us on our journey and achieve consistently all our ambitions.
