While he’s being linked with a move to another EPL side from Chelsea, to Spurs, to replace Harry Kane, another club, AS Roma has now shown interest and they may stand a better chance of signing the forward.
Roma CEO & General Manager Lina Souloukou has reportedly flown to London and could meet Chelsea to discuss Lukaku, reports in Italy claim. The Giallorosi have turned their attention towards Lukaku after Atalanta decided against selling Colombian striker, Duvan Zapata.

Now, the Rome-based club are also keeping a close eye on the 30-year-old who wants to continue his career in Europe and doesn’t want to go to Saudi Arabia. According to the report, Roma’s CEO Lina Souloukou is in London and could meet Chelsea to discuss a potential transfer for the ex-Inter star.
It is going to be very hard for them to strike a deal, as they’re only able to offer a loan deal to the Blues, who have always maintained that the player will only leave for in a permanent move.
The Giallorosi had an agreement with Atalanta over Zapata, but the player is said to be unsure about the move, prompting them to look elsewhere and it has now been revealed that it was Atalanta that actually pulled the plug in the deal after their new signing, El Bilal Toure picked up an injury that could keep him out until the end of the year.

Meanwhile…
It’s been more than a week since the failed transfer of Serbian midfielder, Lazar Samardzic from Udinese to Inter Milan and in a recent interview, the player’s father, Miaden Samardzic has claimed that he never authorized Rafaela Pimenta to negotiate on behalf of his son.
“Inter negotiated with a person that was not entitled to do so: Rafaela Pimenta,” Samardzic’s father told Sportitalia. “I saw her only once in my lifetime and I don’t know how she managed to be involved in this situation. When we saw the contract draft, we asked to change it, but Inter only wanted to negotiate with Pimenta.”
Pimenta, who succeeded super agent, Mino Raiola, following the death of the super agent immediately replied. “I am sorry that Samardzic’s father justified his action like this. Facts do the talking,” she said as quoted by Gianluca Di Marzio.

“From the meeting in my office in Montecarlo with him, his wife and Kolarov to the many calls to different clubs we made together and even his request to Udinese to directly speak to me. “We had an appointment in Inter’s headquarters together, we agreed to join the Nerazzurri, and we even toasted with him and his wife,” she continued.
“There was a video call to organise his son’s medical, plus the arrival of other relatives and a cameraman. After all this, his father made requests that I did not share, so I decided to take a step back.” She further clarified. For now, it’s hard to tell who is at fault, but Inter took the best decision.
