Antoine Griezmann has clamped down talks on a potential transfer to Manchester United in the summer as the France international chases legendary status at Atletico Madrid with both parties in great sync and a possible extension is on the cards for him in big blow to the English Premier League outfit.

Speaking to Marca, Griezmann who have intentions to stay in Spain instead of moving in January stated: “I’ve to earn myself to be a legend in this club. That’s my mission. By 2024 I want to bring joy to the fans and some title for Atlético. It would be a dream”.

The experienced France international suffered a horrible few years at the Nou Camp but now being back at Diego Simeone‘s new look-Atletico team, it seems he has his sights firmly set on cementing his legacy in the capital.
