Georginio Wijnaldum is open to continuity at PSG if given the chance having just recently returned from loan from Serie A club, Roma and has been heavily tipped to leave the French Giant in the summer.

Speaking to L’Équipe today, the Dutch midfielder indicated that he is keeping his options open, and that his future will be the subject of discussion once he returns from holiday at the end of next month.

The former Liverpool midfielder also pointed out that there are still “many things that need to be clarified.”

“If they say they want to keep me, then I’ll stay”, he adds, before going on to explain that he had no regrets about choosing PSG back in 2021, and pointing out that his difficulties on first arriving were down to needing to adapt to a new environment after five years with the Reds.

“It was very difficult, I think a player needs to feel wanted at a club, to be shown that they’re counting on him. You need joy as well. That’s what I need.”
