Arsenal Gets New Head Coach

English Women’s Super League (WSL) side, Arsenal Football Club Women have announced the appointment of Jonas Eideval as their new head coach.
The 38-year-old joins the Gunners from last season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finalists FC Rosengard after leading the Malmo-based club to the 2018 Swedish Cup and their first Damallsvenskan title in four years in 2019.
Jonas Eideval was in charge of Malmo FF Jugend from 2003 to 2005.
He joined Lundz BK from 2006 to 2011 before teaming up with FC Rosengard where his success story blossomed.
He emerged as Swedish Champion in 2013 with FC Rosengard and Swedish Coach of the year 2013 in women’s football.
Arsenal ended the 2020/2021 English Women’s Super League (WSL) season in the third position with 48 points from 22 games which earned the team a place in the 2021/2022 UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualification Stage.
