The former Arsenal defender believes fixtures schedule favour Antonio Conte’s side despite the Gunners holding a six point advantage over their rivals.

Arsenal consolidated their position on the log with a hard fought victory against Aston Villa to further steer away from their rivals two of who face each other on Sunday.

Keown said Arsenal will fall along the way and expects Spurs to capitalize on the strong fixture schedule for the Gunners.

“There’s a lot of games to go, and I still put Spurs as favourites to make it into the top four,” he told BT Sport.

“Arsenal are in the box seat I know, but when you look at the fixtures, games away at Chelsea, Spurs. It’s tough.

“It’s in Arsenal’s hands and if they keep performing as they are they’ll do it, but it’s a long way to go.”

Keown may have tipped Spurs to finish in fourth ahead of his beloved Arsenal but did praise the work of Mikel Arteta on the Arsenal team.

Liverpool’s outgoing Sporting Director Michael Edwards is being linked with a move to PSG as replacement for under fire Leonardo.

The Daily Telegraph are reporting that the legendary Liverpool director who have been at Anfield for a decade and is set to leave at the end of the season is being closely monitored by the French club.

Leonardo is the current Director of Sports in Paris but has come under scrutiny following the clubsyouster from the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid.

Edwards has overseen the influx of players such as Virgil Van Dijk and Mohammed Salah as well as Sadio Mane who all have contributed immensely to Liverpool’s success over the past five years.

He announced in November last year that he’d be departing the club after over a decade at the Merseyside club.

PSG are also monitoring other directors according to the reports should Edwards not arrive from Liverpool.

Andrea Berta from Atletico Madrid, Giovanni Rossi of Sassuolo, Hugo Viana from Sporting Lisbon are also being considered while Fabio Paratici of Tottenham is also being talked about.
