The Ghanaian national team captain was one of Mikel Arteta’s most important players last season but has struggled with injuries this term.

As reported by Ekrem Konur, Al Ettifaq and Al Ahli are monitoring the 30 year old’s situation at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta will not stand in the way of the former Atletico Madrid midfielder given how well Declan Rice has settled into the team.

Partey left Spain in 2020 to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and immediately settled into the league but has since seen his importance diminish due to his unavailability.

Saudi Pro League have signed quite a few players from the Premier League and are already lining up a few more for the January transfer window.

Meanwhile…

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric could finally agree to move to the Saudi Pro League as revealed by his agent.

Modric is regarded as one of the best midfielders of his generation thanks to his exploits with Real Madrid over the last decade.

He was previously linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but decided to sign a new contract at Real Madrid.

However, due to limited game time, the 38 year old could reconsider the option from the MiddleEast nation.

“This summer there was interest in Modric [from Saudi Arabia] with the aim of signing him,” agent Borja Couce revealed in an interview with Shooot.

“The player has several offers, from a club from the capital and another club.

“Modric is currently thinking about Real Madrid, but the idea of him moving to the Saudi Pro League is possible if the offer is suitable.”

Modric has won every available trophy at Real Madrid and would not rule out a mega money move in the twilight of his career.
