More Details
With nine La Liga outings, the former Real Madrid youth product has already made a name for himself at Valladolid. But given that a number of clubs are exploring the potential of signing the player in January, his long-term career at Valladolid appears to be in jeopardy.
Real Madrid, Fresneda’s old club, is already monitoring the youngster’s progress in La Liga, and Atlético Madrid, a cross-town rival, is also interested in him with a view to making a deal as soon as feasible.
The 18-year-old has been targeted by Real Madrid as part of their strategy to increase competition for Dani Carvajal, but Atleti needs more reinforcements at full-back.
Fresneda’s pursuit by the Gunners is not entirely unexpected given the team’s acute need for a quality right-back replacement for players like Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu. In this situation, Fresneda enters the action after the youngster dazzled spectators with his speed and athleticism.
Even if his release clause is set at €30 million, luring the 18-year-old might not be difficult because Valladolid are thought to be open to a deal if any interested party can make a bid of approximately €15 million.

Meanwhile…
All season long, Atlético Madrid has not been convincing. On their quest for consistency, a new hiccup appears every time they appear to be off and running.
Diego Simeone has had a lot of stress as a result of the circumstances, since the Argentine tactician is the natural place to look for the team’s weaknesses.
Simeone’s current contract with Atletico Madrid ends at the end of the current campaign, according to multiple reports from Marca, and there is no automatic extension provision.
