Ramsdale left Sheffield United to join Arsenal in August 2021. During that time, he has made 86 appearances in all competitions and kept 32 clean sheets.

Due to his impressive achievements for The Gunners, the 25-year-old was included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the FIFA World Cup last year. However, summer acquisition David Raya has replaced him as the team’s starting goalkeeper this season.

The England international may leave Arsenal at the end of the season if he wants to, but the club is not actively looking to let him go in the January transfer window without a replacement in place, according to 90min.

Ramsdale was adamant that he would return to the top slot for Arsenal, according to the article, but it’s understood that he would now want to play regular first-team games somewhere.

Ramsdale had a rare start last weekend because Raya was forced to miss the encounter against his parent club, Brentford. Although the English goalkeeper maintained a clean sheet, he was criticized for some of his comparatively poor passing.

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
