Arsenal Women Beat Everton To Keep Pressure on WSL Leaders Manchester City
Arsenal Women continued their fine run of form with a 3–1 victory over Everton in the English Women’s Super League, closing the gap on table-toppers Manchester City and claiming their fourth consecutive win in all competitions.

The visitors made a fast start at Goodison Park as Katie McCabe opened the scoring in the 11th minute.
Everton responded quickly, with Hinata Hayashi equalising two minutes later after an assist from Olga Vignola.
Arsenal regained the lead almost immediately when Alessia Russo struck in the 15th minute, converting a pass from Kim Little to restore the Gunners’ advantage before halftime.
Everton pushed for another equaliser in the second half, but Arsenal sealed the win late on as Olivia Smith netted in the 87th minute, finishing off a move created by McCabe.

The victory keeps Arsenal firmly in the title race, reducing the gap at the top of the WSL table to five points behind Manchester City.
The match also marked a welcome return for Leah Williamson, who came off the bench to make her first appearance since suffering a knee injury during the Euro 2025 final with England — a significant boost for the North London side as the season progresses.
