Aston Villa seal Traore deal
French Ligue 1 club, Olympique Lyonnais have reportedly agreed a deal with Aston Villa for winger, Bertrand Traore.
The Burkina Faso international has Premier League experience after spending four years at Chelsea, three of which were with the senior team. He made ten league appearances for Chelsea before sealing a move to Lyon in 2017.
At Lyon, he’s been able to establish himself as one of the finest wingers in the French league, even helping the club to the semifinals of the Champions League last term despite a seventh placed finish in Ligue 1.
RMC Sport reports that the 25-year old winger will fly to England tomorrow for his medicals after both clubs agreed on 19 million euros deal. He is expected to to sign a three-year contract with an option for a fourth.
Traore could become the Villans second major signing this summer following reports that Arsenal goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez has been signed by the club.
