Several players have been identified as possible reinforcement to the squad and the latest is Real Betis midfielder, Guido Rodriguez. Rodriguez has played 27 games for Real Betis in La Liga this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Defensive, he has been astute.

The 28-year-old produces one interception, three tackles and 1.5 clearances per game and he wins an average of six duels per ninety minutes. The Argentine has been part of a double pivot for Betis alongside William Carvalho.

The latest revelation is that Pique, asked Sergio Ramos to support Rubiales in removing David Aganzo from the presidency of the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE). Pique made the request to Ramos who replied saying that he doesn’t believe it’s something they should get involved with and asking for confidentiality.

Ramos told Pique that it was a sensitive issue that should be left alone. Pique then passed the message on to Rubiales, betraying Ramos’ trust. Aganso became president of the AFE in November 2017 when Rubiales left to become president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
