Atletico Madrid On The Double With Julián Alvarez's Arrival

The 24-year-old has penned a six-year deal with the Spanish club. Known for his pace, skill, and ability to link up play, Álvarez is a dynamic attacker capable of operating in multiple positions.

A key member of the Argentina national team, he brings a wealth of experience and talent to Diego Simeone’s side.

Alvarez has won two Premier League titles since joining Manchester City in 2022, the Champions League, FA Cup, European Super Cup and the Club World Cup, in which he was the top scorer with two goals. Across two seasons in England, he played 103 games and recorded 36 goals and 18 assists.

A key member of Argentina’s golden generation, Julián Álvarez has enjoyed rapid success on the international stage. Since making his senior debut in 2021, he has lifted the Copa América twice, the CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions, and the FIFA World Cup. His impressive tally of 36 caps, nine goals, and one assist underlines his impact for his country.

The 24-year-old has completed his medical examinations ahead of his move to Atlético Madrid, bringing his exceptional talent to the Spanish capital.

The Metropolitan club has also confirmed that they have formed a new partnership with Delivery giant InPost, becoming the club’s official logistics sponsor for the 2024-2025 season. As part of the deal, InPost will install its signature Lockers at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium and the club’s training facilities in Alcalá de Henares and Majadahonda.

The brand will enjoy prominent visibility both on and off the pitch during LaLiga matches and will have a dedicated space within the stadium’s fan zone.
