Diego Simeone is keen on creativity ahead of the new season and with the impending departure of Angel Correa after reportedly agreeing terms with an unnamed Mexican club, Atletico Madrid have now set their sight on Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa who played a fringe role in the club’s EPL conquest as his likely replacement. Liverpool are very much open to his exit, he won’t continue beyond the season which gives the Metropolitan club an easy ride although both clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee.

Federico Chiesa is preparing to bid farewell to Liverpool after a tenure marked by both triumphs and challenges. While he celebrated winning a a title, his time in the Premier League has been fraught with difficulties in adapting to a highly competitive and physically demanding league.

As a result, discussions about his departure have been ongoing for some time. Liverpool, however, are holding firm in their valuation of the Italian winger, reportedly seeking around €14 million to sanction a move.

Although Chiesa’s substantial salary has complicated potential negotiations, the club is determined to pursue a sale regardless.

Meanwhile, news from Spain as called by Diario AS suggests that Atletico Madrid have emerged as serious contenders to secure Chiesa’s signature. Manager Diego Simeone has identified the Italian as the ideal addition to his squad for the upcoming transfer window, and Atletico is expected to make a formal offer soon.
