In a swift response, Valencia released a statement that they had no agreement with Barcelona but that hasn’t stopped rumors of Soler leaving the club as he has refused to sign a new deal with the club.
With the prospect of losing him for free in a year time, the most sensible option would be to sell him now and now reports have emerged that fellow La Liga side, Atletico Madrid are set to launch a move of their own as they look to add creativity to their midfield.
Valued at about €40 million but could be available for half of that, Soler is said to be upset with Valencia coach, Jose Bordalas, which is the reason why he’s pushing for a move away from the club.

Atletico Madrid could send their Argentine midfielder, Rodrigo De Paul to Inter Milan, either on loan or in a permanent move as they look to revamp their midfield.

De Paul made the switch to Atletico from Udinese last summer, but things have not quite worked out as planned with the Los Rojiblancos and he could be on his way out after just a season in the Spanish capital.
With the Nerazzurri not in a great financial state, a loan move could be the best option for all parties involved.
