Balogun joins Rangers

Rangers have announced the signing of German-born Nigerian international center-back, Leon Balogun from Brighton Hive and Albion.

Balogun, who joined Brighton in 2018 after several years in Germany struggled to hold down a place in the Brighton team and could only make a few appearances for the club. Balogun was loaned to the Championship with recently relegated Wigan in January and was signed permanently to a short-term contract just before the season ended.

The 31-year old has now joined Steven Gerrard’s Rangers who recently finished second in the uncompleted 2019/20 Scottish Premiership season.
