The team sealed the title with last weekend’s win at Granada but they had to wait until Friday to celebrate their success with the fans.

Barça Women could end up with four trophies in 2023/2024 with the Copa de la Reina final against Real Sociedad to come on Saturday 18 May in Zaragoza and then, a week later, the UEFA Women's Champions League (UWCL) final against Olympique Lyonnais in Bilbao.

The European champions started the league-winning celebrating mood against Athletic Club with Mariona Caldentey's opener in the ninth minute as they raced to a comfortable half-time lead.
