More Details
While it’s obvious that these are the areas that need reinforcement more, the club are eyeing a couple of players that they will like to add to their midfield.

With the emergence of Pedri and Gavi, alongside Sergio Busquet, Frankie De Jong and even Sergi Roberto, the Catalans seemed stacked in the middle.
But with the future of Sergi Roberto and De Jong still very much up in the air and Busquet not getting any younger, the club are on the lookout for players that they can sign.
The player(s) must meet certain criteria, chiefly among them is that the player should be available on a free transfer or for a nominal fee as the club want to focus their funds elsewhere.
Another thing is that the player should be able to play in the current system that their coach is trying to instill in the team. Currently, two players are top of the list and they both play in the Italian Leaguez namely Marcelo Brozovic, who plays for Inter Milan and Franck Kessie, who plays for Ac Milan.
Barca would prefer to sign Brozovic as his style of play better suits the club and should represent a big upgrade on Busquet but he is more inclined towards renewing with his current club than moving elsewhere.
Kessie, on the other hand may not possess the same grace on the ball but he will bring his physicality to the middle for the Blaugrana, something they have been missing in recent times.
The fact that there is no headway in the negotiations between him and the Rossoneri, his signing looks to be the one that is most feasible for the Catalans.
Meanwhile…
It’s well known that Erling Haaland remains Barcelona’s priority to reinforce their attack in the summer and they plan to pursue him with all their might.
While the player is yet to decide on his future, there are other clubs also interested with the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City the top pick among them.

It is rumored that the Blaugrana have an agreement with the player’s agent, Mino Raiola but they’re not putting all their eggs in one basket and are said to be lining up another target should they fail to land their primary target.
Real Sociedad striker, Alexander Isak is the man who the Barcelona board have picked as the alternative to Haaland. While he has a bigger release clause (€80 million to Haaland’s €75 million) the player could become available if a bid if €60 million arrives.
Isak has been instrumental for his club this season but they could be tempted into selling him if a reasonable offer is made but for now, Haaland is still the number one target for Barca.
