The Blaugrana have a busy summer transfer window ahead of them, with Xavi wanting to assemble a side capable of fighting for the La Liga title in the coming months.
With Wolves missing out on European qualification through the Premier League, Portuguese international Neves is said to be seeking for a way out of Molineux.
According to Diario Sport, Xavi is searching for a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets, and Neves is on the market for roughly €40 million.
However, the former Porto man is on Xavi’s shortlist of potential transfer targets, with other options costing twice as much as the 25-year-old.
After Wolves fans called for him to stay after their final home game of the season, Wolves manager Bruno Lage confessed he is unsure where Neves will play next season.

Xavi has insisted his Barcelona team must challenge for major honours next season following a revival in 2022.
His return to the club at the back end of 2021 sparked a change for the Catalan giants, but they have been knocked out of domestic and European cups, and failed to launch a title push.
With a Champions League qualification place already assured ahead of the final week of the season, Xavi’s charges limped to a 0-0 draw at Getafe this weekend.
However, despite his young squad still developing at the Camp Nou, Xavi will have no time for excuses from the first ball being kicked in August.
