La Liga will eventually permit Barca to register Kounde after he was compelled to miss the first two games of the season, according to numerous sources from Spain.
Gerard Romero even believes that Barcelona won’t need to sell any more players to complete the deal.
It was initially believed that Memphis Depay and/or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be sold by Barcelona in order for Kounde to be registered.
If Kounde is registered, it is unclear whether Barca’s negotiations with Chelsea to sign Auba will proceed. Additionally, it will prompt inquiries as to why Kounde wasn’t registered sooner.
Of course, Barcelona still has time to try to sell Aubameyang and sign additional players before the transfer window shuts. The Catalans are rumored to desire at least one full-back, and Bernardo Silva rumors just won’t go away.
Auba’s purchase price has not yet been agreed upon between Barcelona and Chelsea. Although Marcos Alonso is supposedly being offered to the Catalans as part of the transfer, they reportedly prefer a straight cash transaction.
