Barcelona’s Raphinha faces an uncertain future despite a decent season. The Brazilian winger has been displaced from his preferred right-wing position by Lamine Yamal and remains a potential departure target for both fans and possibly the club.

According to reports in MD, Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal are determined to lure Raphinha away. Manager Jorge Jesus, aiming for a Brazilian attacking trio, has contacted Raphinha’s inner circle to push for a move.

The offer is tempting – a significant pay rise that could secure his family’s future for generations. However, Barcelona are reluctant to negotiate with Al-Hilal unless they reach an agreement with Raphinha first. If they can convince him to leave, then they will demand a hefty €90 million for his signature.

Surprisingly, the report suggests that even this high price tag wouldn’t be a deterrent for Al-Hilal.

Raphinha’s potential exit would free up funds for Barcelona to pursue a natural left-winger, with Nico Williams and Luis Diaz reportedly topping their wishlist.

Sporting Director Deco is believed to favor the latter, who is already aware that his “dream move” to Barcelona hinges on Raphinha’s departure. Notably, Raphinha hasn’t appointed a new agent since Deco left to join Barcelona, potentially complicating negotiations on his end.
