And right ontop of that, they’re also set to lose some of their star players in the next Summer transfer window with clubs in Europe ready to trigger the release clause of Victor Osimhen while Piotr Zielinski is set to join Inter Milan on a free transfer.
It is for this reason that the Partenopei have made it a mission to keep their Georgian forward, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for next season, except a huge offer is presented. Barcelona are on the lookout for a new left-winger heading into the summer transfer window and the name of Kvaratskhelia has been touted as a possible target.

The 23-year-old is someone that Barça rate and admire highly owing to his speed, dribbling skills, and effectiveness in the final third. But the financial situation makes things difficult for the Blaugrana to pursue the Serie A superstar.
Despite that, Barcelona have made contact with Napoli to learn about the situation of Kvaratskhelia heading into the summer transfer window, according to a report from AS. The directors of the two clubs have been in touch to discuss the situation of the 23-year-old speedster, the report states, with Barça eager to stay updated.
In fact, not very long ago, Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, went on to admit that it would please him if he would join Barça, as he said: “His father and I are Barça fans and it would make me very happy to see him play there, even though Khvicha is a Real Madrid fan.” He further added.
However, signing Kvaratskhelia from Napoli will not be easy as Aurelio De Laurentiis, is keen on handing him a new contract. Kvaratskhelia is one of the lowest paid member of the team and his current contract runs until 2027 and the Serie A champions are planning to offer him a new deal with improved wages to keep him at the club.
The Idea is to build the team for the coming seasons around him after a disappointing campaign this time out.So, it would make things hard for Barcelona if they are indeed serious about signing Kvaratskhelia in the summer. The feeling is that the player and his entourage will ask for a release clause to be inserted into the new deal, so a move in the future will be possible.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Napoli have decided against signing Hamed Junior Traoré and Leander Dendoncker permanently, so they will return to Bournemouth and Aston Villa at the end of the season.
Napoli will not make Traoré and Dendoncker’s loan moves permanent at the end of the season, so both midfielders will return to Bournemouth and Aston Villa in June, according to the report.

It should be recalled that both midfielders moved to Naples in the January transfer window but failed to convince the Partenopei to keep them beyond the summer.Traoré has made eight appearances across all competitions with Napoli but has failed to score or assist so far.
Napoli won’t activate a €25m clause to sign him permanently but will need to pay a reduced fee for the ex-Sassuolo star’s six-month loan. Dendoncker only made three Serie A appearances, all as a substitute, playing just 21 minutes in Italy’s top flight.
He was left out of Napoli’s UEFA list for the Champions League knock-out phase, so Napoli won’t pay €10m and the Belgium international will return to Aston Villa.
