Barcelona Won’t Sign Another Striker If They Fail To Get Haaland

The Norwegian has a €75 million release clause that can be activated in the summer and is likely to cost an amount close to €100 million, including commission, excluding his salary.


Barcelona on their part are making all the efforts to bring the player to the Camp Nou next season but he has plenty of clubs that are also after him with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City also among the favorites for his signature.

With this in mind, Barcelona have decided not to sign another high profile striker should they fail in their bid to sign Haaland, but would rather make Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the focal point of their attack and have a young striker to function as his alternative, focusing their attention more on strengthening the defense instead.

Aubameyang since his arrival to the club on the last days of the January transfer window has been in impressive form for the club and the club may be forced put him into consideration for their long term future, If he continues with this fine form for the club

One of the youngsters they can bring is Alexander Isak of Real Sociedad. The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Barcelona recently and proves to be a future superstar.


English Premier League side, Manchester City in the last few days have jumped to the front to become the frontrunners in the race to sign Erling Haaland.

With Real Madrid dragging their foot over reaching an agreement with the player as they want to secure the signing of Kylian Mbappe first, this has given Barcelona and Manchester City the leeway to make their move for the player.

Manchester City could yet beat the Blaugrana as they’re financially capable of meeting the player and his agent’s demands while also the lure of playing under Pep Guardiola could be another deciding factor.

The player was said to have declared that he wants to play in the Spanish League but he’s now said to have been convinced that his future could also be in England.
