Barcelona’s Lieke Martens Set For PSG Medicals

According to Canal+, FC Barcelona’s Lieke Martens will be in Paris today (Thursday) to undergo medical tests as a new Paris Saint Germaine (PSG) player.

The player’s contract extension with FC Barcelona has been an issue of worry in recent times.
Lieke’s condition to stay in Barcelona is to live with her partner Benjamin Van Leer in the same city.
Barcelona as of this week is trying to find a solution for Benjamin so Lieke can stay. The advanced option currently for the goalkeeper is to play with Andorra.

With the latest news from Canal+, Lieke Martens is set to depart FC Barcelona for French D1 Arkema side, PSG.
The former Duisburg, Goteborg, and Rosengard player has spent five seasons with FC Barcelona, scoring over 40 league goals for the Catalan side.
She scored five goals with an assist as FC Barcelona won the 2020/2021 UEFA Women’s Champions League title.
