In a sudden twist, it seems like the player is now headed for Bayern Munich as the Bavarians are said to have turned the player’s head with an offer of €10 million annual salary, a figure Barcelona can never get close to, due to their financial situation.
Mazraoui, a product of the Ajax academy, is in the final few months of his contract with the Dutch giants and is attracting widespread interest from several clubs across Europe.
Italian side, AS Roma were also said to be interested but they lack the financial pull not the lure of European football to tempt the Moroccan into considering them at least.

Barcelona could also miss out on the signing of Chelsea defender, Cesar Azpiliqueta after his club decided to triggered a one-year extension in his deal. The player is in the final year of his contract with the club and was at the risk of walking away as a free agent in June.

Owing to the embargo placed on the club, they can’t renew old contracts or sign new players but have decided to trigger the clause in their Captain’s contract.
Despite that, there is a possibility that Chelsea will allow Azpilicueta to leave if he asks the club to do so. It remains to be seen if such a scenario materialises especially if their bam is eventually lifted and they are able to make signings.
