More Details

The 30-year-old has just suffered an ankle injury, which prevented him from playing in England’s 1-0 loss to Brazil on Saturday.

Gareth Southgate mentioned post-match that Kane would resume training with Bayern after acknowledging his captain’s “extremely doubtful” status for the team’s upcoming friendly against Belgium. Kane was photographed at Bayern Munich training on Monday, and the club confirmed his participation in an individual training session.

The German club statement read: “Harry Kane completed an individual training session at FC Bayern’s training ground on Monday morning.

“The 30-year-old striker worked with the ball on the pitch at Sabener Strasse alongside fitness coach Holger Broich.”

The striker was injured while playing for the Bavarians earlier this month after colliding with a goalpost during the team’s win over Darmstadt.

While the England captain’s injury has kept him out of the national team this week, he has yet to miss a league game for Bayern this season and has scored 31 goals in 26 Bundesliga games.

Manchester United have announced that Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s official 27.7% takeover of the team in exchange for a £1.3 billion agreement has now been completed.

Ratcliffe said: ‘To become co-owner of Manchester United is a great honour and comes with great responsibility.

‘This marks the completion of the transaction, but just the beginning of our journey to take Manchester United back to the top of English, European and world football, with world-class facilities for our fans. Work to achieve those objectives will accelerate from today.’
