The North Africans came out top in Group E with seven points after victories over Belgium and Canada followed an opening game draw against Croatia.
Morocco defeated Canada on Thursday thanks to goals from Hakim Ziyech and Youssef El Nesyri to confirm their place at the top of the group with seven points with Croatia finishing behind with five points.
Morocco will now play Spain who finished second in Group F for a place in the quarter finals.
In the other group game, Belgium laboured to a goalless draw against Croatia to see their 2022 World Cup dream come to an abrupt end.
