In the upcoming weeks, the Yellow Submarine hope to add new players to their roster. Former defender Eric Bailly recently returned to Castellon on a free transfer. However, Marcelino will have to weigh the arrival of new players against loan outs and sells with Ben Brereton Diaz the first player to depart this month.
Since joining Villarreal on a free transfer last summer, the Chilean international has failed to score for the team but it is believed that a six-month loan to Sheffield United will help him get back on track.
The Blades are in need of a goal scorer for the second half of the season as they get ready for a Premier League relegation battle, although there is no buy clause involved in the deal.
